PATERSON, N.J. – The Egg Platter Diner in Paterson will be closing after more than 70 years in business, the popular restaurant announced on its Facebook page.

“With great sadness I have to inform our wonderful customers that the Egg Platter Diner will be closing on May 31st officially,” the post states.

According to the post, the owners have plans to rebuild within the area, and they will donate the diner itself to the Paterson Museum.
