Jodi Pezzillo-Goffredo is a License Social Worker specializing in psychiatric, substance abuse and forensic behavioral analysis. Jodi's experience began when her second career after graduating from Rutgers University with a Masters in Social Work in 2010. Jodi has been employed by the Housing Authority of Bergen County since 2011 beginning in the homeless shelter as the Clinical Coordinator working with housing programs, hospitals and assessing inmates needing placement upon release. In 2015, Jodi was offered and accepted a new position, Tenant and Social Services Coordinator within HABC. In addition Jodi volunteers her expertise in working with low income and uninsured to reconnect and navigate the system.Jodi participates in the Mental Health Stigma Free Campaigns in the City of Hackensack and the Borough of Oakland. Jodi regularly attends town council meetings, neighborhood committees and county wide meetings to understand and communicate needs of community and those who need about changes needing to be met. Jodi received the Employee Award in 2014 from the Housing Authority of Bergen County.Jodi Pezzillo-Goffredo is committed to the safety of all. Jodi comes from a family of law enforcement and community respected family members. Jodi was training for an opening with FBI and instead accepted HABC employment.Jodi currently remains abreast of forensic issues by working with researchers in NYC. Jodi shares breaking updates in the community though the communication in Bergen County, Jodi will be organizing a new effort to assist in lowering suicides which will be announced in October, 2015.
