OAKLAND, N.J. – Looking to buy some good books?

Head to the Oakland Public Library this weekend.

The non-profit New Friends of the Oakland Public Library is holding its seventh annual book sale – and there are more than 15,000 items priced to move.

Items for purchase include gently used fiction, non-fiction and children’s books, as well as DVD’s and CD’s.

The sale kicked off Friday and is running through Sunday, Oct. 30. Booklovers are invited to shop on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, shoppers can take advantage of a bag sale. For just $5, they can purchase all the books that can fit in a provided shopping bag.
