FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Franklin Lakes' Chabad Jewish Center will be hosting the lecture "Red States, Blue States and the Jewish State: an Insider's Perspective on President-elect Trump and the Future of the Middle East" on Thursday evening, Jan. 12.

Gil Hoffman is chief political correspondent and analyst for The Jerusalem Post. He'll share his thoughts on the upcoming presidency of Donald Trump and its impact on U.S. relations with Israel and the Middle East.

"Well-connected to Israeli and Palestinian leaders, Hoffman has interviewed every major figure across the Israeli political spectrum, has been interviewed by international news outlets on six continents, and is a regular analyst on CNN, Fox, Al-Jazeera and other top-tier media," organizers note.

Called "the most optimistic man in Israel" by Israel Television, Hoffman's writing and TV appearances provide a behind-the-scenes look at the intrigue and humor in the Israeli political arena.

Wine and refreshments will be served prior to the program. The cost is $12 in advance or $18 at the door, and sponsorships are $180.

RSVP here by Tuesday, Jan. 10, or call 201-848-0449 for more information. The program will begin at 7 p.m. The Chabad Jewish Center is located at 375 Pulis Ave.
