The gallery is open to the general public during box office hours Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. It will be available to patrons of scheduled performances.

Although best known for his work capturing local landmarks around Bergen County, Oberndorf has also started accepting custom commissions from local homeowners.

Oberndorf’s artistic goal is to capture the mood of his subject through intelligent observation and execution of all natural light effects, alongside faithful rendering of perspective and creative composition.

Using color, value, line and paint texture, he can create his own vision and interpretation of nature, for an honest and valid representational work of art.

His realist style of painting has been most strongly influenced by Edward Hopper and Johannes Vermeer. Other major influences are 17th Century Dutch Genre Painting, French Impressionism, Spanish and Italian Realism, and 19th and 20th Century American Plein-Air Painting.

BergenPAC is located at 30 North Van Brunt St., in Englewood.
