Wyckoff Lecture Examines Bergen County History

Wyckoff, N.J. – The sixth-annual luncheon program for the Northwest Bergen History Coalition features a talk with Bergen County Historian Kevin Wright at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the Brick House, 179 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff.

Wright will discuss the laws and politics of how local boroughs evolved from the larger townships of Orville, HoHoKus and Franklin. 

A New Jersey native and Rutgers University graduate, Wright serves as secretary to the Historic NewBridge Landing Park Commission. He was tour director at Waterloo Village (1978), curator at the Steuben House in River Edge (1981) and regional resource-interpretive specialist (2001) before retiring in 2008.
