According to Kris Pepper, the YMCA’s public relations director, the Wyckoff Y Cares initiative is a way to reach neighbors, lend a helping hand and support families in need.

In the 18 years since its inception, “this resource has assisted over 175 families with a myriad of hardships as they navigate their journeys, move forward and reestablish their lives,” she said.

The public is invited to attend the annual meeting. It will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 8 a.m. in the Y’s Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Center, 691 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff.
