Oakland Rescue Seeks Fosters For 12 Dogs From Jersey Shore Hoarding Case

OAKLAND, N.J. — Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge in Oakland is expanding its foster program to help dogs rescued from a Jersey Shore home in what authorities called "an extreme hoarding situation."

The shelter says it took in 12 "adorable, but scared dogs" from the Howell home. Two were treated at Oradell Animal Hospital.

The foster program helps Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refugetake in and care for more dogs and cats.
