FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – Employees of Franklin Lakes are having a food drive for the holidays.
The initiative, which began on Monday, Nov. 9, runs through Thursday, Dec. 17.
Organizers are collecting non-perishable, unexpired food donations to support the Center for Food Action at a drop-off area located at the Borough Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Items being collected for the drive include peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, tuna, pasta, rice, canned soups, spaghetti sauce, canned fruits, vegetables, diapers and baby formula.
Additional items that are needed include supermarket gift cards, along with hygiene and personal care products.
