Due out on Oct. 1, the book is the brainchild of Closter resident Ayelet Nathaniel, whose children's book "Sparkly Me" made her the best-selling author on Amazon for 16 straight weeks.
“The idea of the book is to inspire and support women,” said Nathaniel, an Israeli immigrant and mother of three. “It’s to make them feel like they’re not alone in this world and they can go on and do whatever they want.”
Randolph and her business partner, Mariel Alvarado, are the co-founders of Lady Savant Society, a business-sisterhood that holds a variety of networking and learning events for local female professionals
They and the other New Jersey, New York, California and Connecticut women in the book all share personal stories of “personal triumph, moments of grief, support, growth and ultimately, success,” Nathaniel said on her website.
“Owning a business is very difficult and many women feel very isolated,” she said. “At some point they decided not to pursue their dream because it’s just so hard.
“Each one of us comes from different backgrounds and experience difficulties but this book shows that it doesn’t matter where you come from.”
