Joseph Lemaire Named Wyckoff YMCA’s Humanitarian Honoree

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- The Wyckoff Family YMCA announces that it will award Joseph Michael Lemaire with its William E. Boye Jr. Humanitarian Award at a dinner on Tuesday, June 7.Lemaire was named the recipient for 2016 for his contributions to the community and the healthcare industry.

Lemaire his wife Margi have raised their children in the YMCA environment and have been long standing members, supporters, and advocates of the Y. They currently live in Franklin Lakes and have four children: Jacqueline, Nicole, and Brigitte and Dan. 

The award will be celebrated at the Friends of the Y dinner event to be held at the YMCA Wyckoff.

Lemaire is a 1976 Fairleigh Dickinson University graduate who became a CPA and partner at the accounting firm Harris Kerr Foster. A specialist in the healthcare industry, by age 34 he was running the New Jersey office of what was now called Pannell Kerr Forster. 

After 33 years of working as an auditor and consultant for many health care clients, he became chief financial officer at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck before accepting his current position as executive vice president and CFO at Meridian Health. Meridian is in the final stages of its regulatory approvals, which will complete its merger with Hackensack University Health Network. 

The new system will create Hackensack Meridian Health. In the new organization, he will become the president of Diversified Health Ventures for Hackensack Meridian Health, which will encompass all the non- hospital operations. 

Lemaire serves on several professional and community boards was recognized by NJBIZ as the 2015 Healthcare CFO of the Year.
