The library, located at 470 DeKorte Drive in Franklin Lakes, is inviting the public to donate funds for books on behalf of family members, friends or other special people.

Donations for a new book can be as small as $30.

The titles that are purchased through the donations will be added to the library's materials collection, along with a commemorative bookplate for each new volume.

Donors can select either fiction or non-fiction works, and can choose which age group -- children, teen, or adult -- they want their donations to go to.
