FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Residents will have plenty of warning about upcoming road work to be completed in early summer to help smooth out those bumpy roads across the borough.
The borough is going out to bid for its 2016 road improvement program and expect to be ready to to have paving and upgrades begin by late June or early July.
The project will include the milling and paving the following streets: High Woods Drive, Black Hawk Lane, Sunset Terrace, Roberts Court, Navaho Trail Drive, Olentangy Road and Lynn Drive (from 240 Lynn Drive to Oak Street).
The borough also is expanding its crack-sealing program on other roads, which will keep roads in better condition. More information will be provided on scheduling before the work begins.
