Franklin Lakes Public Invited To Sound Off On Housing Issues

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Mayor Frank Bivona will be hosting another in the series of "Meet the Mayor" sessions -- a question-and-answer session on issues of interest to borough residents -- Tuesday, Feb. 9, in the council chambers at borough hall.

The main topic of discussion will be the issues involving housing and development in the borough, including updates on the borough’s affordable housing plan, the status of the property donated by Express Scripts, affordable and market rate development on Colonial Road, which is now known as Colonial Pointe, the development of the golf course, the development of the Franklin Avenue downtown and the installation of sewers.

This meeting is intended to be a free-flowing discussion, so come with your questions on housing and development or any other issue of interest or concern to you or your neighbors.
