Garbage Collection Running Weekly In Franklin Lakes

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Garbage collection will be picked up once a week from October through March for all Franklin Lakes residents.

Pickup day will be Monday for those currently with a Monday/Thursday collection and Tuesday for those currently with a Tuesday/Friday collection. 

During the months when there is only one collection day, if the collection day falls on a holiday, your garbage will be collected the day following the holiday. 

There will be no change in the recycling collection schedule. Yard waste collection will continue as scheduled through Nov. 30. Residents may bring their leaves to the borough's leaf compost facility on DeKorte Drive, across from the police station.
