RINGWOOD, N.J. – Construction of the new West Brook Road Bridge in Ringwood is on hold, as the county waits on the delivery of steel beams, NorthJersey.com reports.

The beams were expected to be delivered in May, but the galvanization process is taking longer than anticipated, according to the report. Now officials expect the delivery process to start the week of June 18, the story says.

When the project to replace the current crumbling 85-year-old bridge over the Wanaque Reservoir began in 2013, it was estimated to be finished within three years, but as delays have piled up, completion is now estimated for late this year, the story says.
