WYCKOFF, N.J. – The Wyckoff Reformed Church is seeking donations to repair the almost 50 headstones that were vandalized last weekend.

Almost $600 had been raised as of Saturday morning on a GoFundMe campaign for the church.

“We also are asking for prayers for those who committed this very sad and senseless destruction,” Cemetery Association Vice President Richard Lynch said in a Facebook post.

Contributions can be made through GoFundMe or directly to the Wyckoff Reformed Church, 580 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff, NJ 07481, or call 201-891-1782 for further information.

Police are investigating the incident and are seeking information from the public. New Jersey State Detective Agency investigators have donated a toll free anonymous tip line, 877-688-7162 to receive information.
