OAKLAND, N.J. -- Anthony Fornarotto, a resident of Oakland, died Saturday, Feb.27. He was 82.
Before retiring 21 years ago, Fornarotto was a store manager for Grand Union in East Paterson for 45 years, and also was a U.S. veteran.
He is survived by his wife Marlene; children Anthony Fornarotto of Asbury and Theresa Ackerman of Pompton Lakes; siblings Josephine Rizzolo, Michael Fornarotto, Salvatore Fornarotto and Carmine Fornarotto; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Tuesday at the Oakland Memorial Home, 330 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland. Burial will be at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
Relatives and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
