OAKLAND, N.J. — Oakland resident Eric C. Scott died Monday, April 25. He was 28.
A New York Mets and Jets fan, Scott was a mechanic and carpenter. Known for his generosity, Scott's final act was in line with that quality, providing organ and tissue donation.
He is survived by his father Michael Scott; his brother Shaun Scott; his grandmother Bianca Reynolds; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Scott was predeceased by his mother Doreen M. Scott (Reynolds); brother Jeffrey; grandmother Betty Scott (Wingard); and both grandfathers, John D. Scott and William Reynolds.
There will be a viewing from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Oakland Memorial Home directly followed by a service.
There will be a burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Cemetery, 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes.
