Ethel Morrison, 92, Formerly Of Wyckoff

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Ethel Morrison, formerly of Wyckoff, died Thursday, Nov. 3. She was 92.

She was born in Hillsdale and lived in Teaneck and Wyckoff for many years before moving to Vermont in 2006. 

Although her primary role was as wife and mother, she occasionally worked outside the home and her last job before retiring was as a medical secretary at an ophthalmology office in Ridgewood.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; three sisters, Virginia, Joan and Marion; and a brother, Charles. 

She is survived by her children, Linda, Kathleen (Robert) Hall, Susan, Patricia and Deborah (David) Clain; and grandchild, Aria Clain.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. Interment immediately following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Petersburg Baptist Church Mission Fund, 19242 Route 22, Petersburg, N.Y. 12138 or to a charity of your choice.
