FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Gustav Schloesser, of Franklin Lakes, died on Feb 21. He was 89.
Schloesser was born in Lithuania and came to the United States in 1951. He spent more than 50 years at his home in Franklin Lakes with his wife, Eleanor. He was a man of many talents, but worked primarily in the carpentry industry with Vandenberg Construction and Braen Stone Industries, Inc.
Beloved husband of nearly 60 years to Eleanor Schloesser. Devoted father to Paul Schloesser and wife, Jeanne and Donna Mansmann and husband, John. Cherished Opa to three granddaughters, Lynnae, Kristen, and Jessica Peterson.
