Janice M. Bracken, 90, Of Franklin Lakes

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Janice M. Bracken, of Franklin Lakes, died Aug. 11. She was 90. 

She was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, attended the University of Iowa and was a flight attendant for TWA. 

She was a resident of Paramus before moving to Franklin Lakes in 1964. 

While raising five children, she worked first as an international sales representative for United Airlines then as a sales specialist for Tiffany & Co. 

She is survived by her children, William Bracken of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., Brian Bracken and his wife Beth of Kinnelon, Noreen O'Brien and her husband David of Short Hills, Kathleen Gambla of Park City, Utah and Teresa Moreno and her husband Ronald of Franklin Lakes; grandchildren, Daniel, Kelly, Timothy, Cai Lian, Brendan, Sean and YiYi. 

The family will receive guests from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Vander Plaat-Vermulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday by her nephew, the Rev. Michael Hilbert,S.J., at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lakes Road, Franklin Lakes. 

Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, Kilbeggan, County Westmeath, Republic of Ireland.
