Leah Ann Waldron, 48, Wyckoff Resident

WYCKOFF, N.J. – Leah Ann Waldron, of Wyckoff, died Thursday, June 16, at the Eastern Christian Children’s Retreat, Wyckoff. She was 48.

She was born in Red Bank and had lived in Point Pleasant before becoming a resident of the Children’s Retreat in 1985.

She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Waldron, of Aberdeen; a brother, John C. Waldron, of New Egypt; and her sister-in-law, Gail Waldron, of Cream Ridge; three nieces and two nephews; and her extended family of the Eastern Christian Children’s Retreat, who cared for her.

Her father, the Rev. John Waldron, died in 2013; and a brother, Jeffrey Waldron, died in 2009.

Visitation is on Wednesday, June 22, from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 4:30 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A private cremation will be held.
