Taylor was born in New York and spent the first 13 years on the island of Cuba with her parents and brother Harry. She was a devout Catholic who loved animals and being with her family.
She is survived by her children, Stephen Taylor and his wife Linda, Susan Freeman and her husband William, Jane Miller and her husband Raymond, Patricia Patterson and her husband Brian, and Elizabeth Armenante and her husband Mark; grandchildren Alex, Sarah, Katie, John, Mark, Andrew, Ginger, Robert, Michael, Christina and Mary; and great-grandchildren Charlie and Oscar.
Taylor is predeceased by her husband, Raymond, and her son, Brian.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, at St. Elizabeth's Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., in Wyckoff. Interment of her cremains will immediately follow, at Christ the King Cemetery, in Franklin Lakes. Vander Plaat Funeral Home, in Wyckoff, assisted with arrangements.
