WYCKOFF, N.J. — Maureen Maynard, of Wyckoff, died Aug. 21. She was 87.
She was born and raised in Queens, N.Y., and resided at the Longview Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff since 2007, where she received an abundance of loving care from a staff that has become a second family.
She was the mother of Suzanne Jackson of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Roberta Keeley and husband Don of Franklin Lakes, Robert P Maynard of New Bern, N.C., Nancy Koller and husband Bruce of Campbell Hall, N.Y. and Francis X. Maynard of Middletown, N.Y.; grandmother of 11, Wayne, Johnathan, Jennifer, Robert, Katherine, Christopher, Brian, Dana, Jessica, Sean and Charles; and great-grandmother of 11.
In celebration of her life, a funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the CC Van Emburgh Funeral Home, 306 E. Ridgewood Ave., Ridgewood.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Christian Healthcare Employee Fund or to Valley Hospice or to The Alzheimer's Association.
