Born in Westwood, Watson lived in Wyckoff for the past 23 years. She was an application specialist for Bergen Votech/Academies School District in Paramus. Her husband is the Fair Lawn superintendent of schools.
Watson was a member of the Wyckoff and Oakland Tennis Leagues, coached girl's softball for Wyckoff Rec, and was an avid golfer.
She is survived by her husband, Bruce; children Michael and Taylor; father Michael Janis of Bloomfield; mother Dale Janis of Wanaque; brother Michael Janis of Atlanta; and sister Kim Shah of Oakland.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 19, at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., in Wyckoff. Trisaghion Service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Garden of Memories, in the Township of Washington.
