OAKLAND, N.J. -- Peter Kent Levy, 58, of Oakland, died Saturday, Oct. 1.
He was born in Hackensack in 1958 and grew up in Montvale before moving to Oakland two years ago.
He was a computer programmer for Alliance Shippers in Englewood Cliffs for 10 years. He was a self-professed computer nerd, writer, avid reader, film buff, lover of cats, art and he sang in the choir at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; father, Leonard; and brothers, Larry and his wife Maureen and Eric and his wife Karen.
He was predeceased by his mother, Madelyn Levy.
