Jeep Shatters New Milford Utility Pole

NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- A 24-year-old driver whose Jeep shattered a utility pole and downed a small tree in New Milford walked away without serious injuries Sunday morning, police told Daily Voice.

The New Milford driver refused medical attention after the 6:34 a.m. crash in front of 1115 River Road, near New Bridge Road, Detective Sgt. Kevin Van Saders said.

Residences never lost power, but PSE&G had to shut it down temporarily while making repairs.
