The shooting occurred around 8:40 p.m. in the 300 block of 12th Avenue, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Deputy Paterson Police Chief Ibrahim Baycora said in a joint release.
They didn't say whether they had a suspect.
