A Sussex County judge boosted bail to $550,000 for 31-year-old Troy R. Leonard after prosecutors charged him with two additional counts of sexual assault and child endangerment, along with one of health care claims fraud.

A lawyer for Leonard, who was arrested on Nov. 13, entered a not-guilty plea on his behalf to all of the charges during a brief court appearance on Thursday.

Leonard remained held Friday morning in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility on the full 44-count criminal complaint, Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch said.

"The new complaints allege that on various dates between 2011 and 2015 Leonard, while acting as a behavioral analyst, engaged in sexual contact with two young patients at various locations throughout the State," Koch said in a release.

"It further alleges that between the years of 2014–2015 Leonard knowingly submitted false or fraudulent claims to insurance companies in exchange for reimbursement for services he did not provide."

The case against Leonard was investigated by the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police.

Koch asked that anyone with additional information about Leonard contact Detective Anne Psaroudis at his office: (973) 383-1570.
