WYCKOFF, N.J. -- The "Bergen Bites Back" campaign got a boost when County Executive Jim Tedesco joined health and mosquito control officials in releasing a school of Gambusia fish in Wyckoff.

Friday's release of the fish, which feed on mosquito larvae, is an "environmentally friendly practice used in tandem with other methods to control the mosquito population and prevent mosquito-borne illness," Tedesco said.
