The slate consists of incumbent Brian D. Scanlan, who is running for a three-year term, Melissa D. Rubenstein, also vying for a three-year term, and Carla F. Pappalardo, who is running for a one-year unexpired term.
“I am running for re-election because I love Wyckoff and want to continue to serve the people of this great community,” Scanlan said. “I’m proud to be running with Melissa Rubenstein and Carla Pappalardo, as we need independent, smart and pro-active community members on our town’s governing body.”
Scanlan is a member of Saint Elizabeth’s Church where he was co-director of the soup kitchen, a Sunday school teacher and a youth group volunteer. He has also coached Wyckoff Recreation teams and served as a Girl Scout Gold Award advisor.
Rubenstein is an attorney who volunteers for Rebuilding Together, a charity servicing local families, as well as the Paramus Veterans Home. She is also an active supporter of the Wyckoff Family YMCA and local schools.
Pappalardo, also an attorney, has served on the executive boards of the Sicomac School PTO, Eisenhower School PTO and the Wyckoff Coordinating Council. She was also the executive producer of the scholarship fundraising organization FLOW Follies and has served on the Municipal Alliance.
