Franklin Lakes Makes List Of Highest Property Taxes In State

The Borough of Alpine had the fourth-highest property taxes in New Jersey in 2016 based on data from the state Department of Community Affairs, NJ.com reported.

In Bergen County, the average tax bill was $20,910 in 2016 — just $22 higher than the tax bill in 2015.

At $2.72 million, Alpine had the highest average residential property value the with a total tax levy of just $15 million, NJ.com said.
