Franklin Lakes Opens New Student Registration

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- The Franklin Lakes School District began open registration for the 2016-17 school year for both incoming kindergarten students and other students new to the District on Jan. 27..

Residents may begin the open registration process by visiting the District website: www.franklinlakes.k12.nj.us, and selecting the “New Student Registration” link found under “Resources for Faculty.” 

Kindergarten Children are eligible to be registered for Kindergarten classes for the 2016-2017 school year if they were born on or before October 1, 2011. Children do not have to be present during registration. 

An orientation program will be scheduled for May 2016. Parents will be asked to schedule an appointment for their child to participate in a screening activity to help determine kindergarten readiness.
