Franklin Lakes 'Parent Academy' Sessions Planned

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- The Franklin Lakes School District is offering its first two "Parent Academy" sessions, beginning on Monday, Feb. 29.

"Parenting to Elicit Positive Behavior and Academic Results" -- Approaches to Parenting session 1 -- Monday, Feb. 29, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the FAMS multipurpose room

"Parenting Protocols to Develop Children's Organizational Skills" -- Approaches to Parenting session 2 -- Wednesday, March 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the FAMS multipurpose room

Sharon McCarthy is the presenter in these sessions. She's the president of Envision, a consulting firm that specializes in group dynamics, behavioral engineering, quality teaching and effective leadership. She has also co-authored of a number of books and regularly presents at conferences and other events.
