WYCKOFF, N.J. — The Wyckoff Environmental Commission is looking for a high school volunteer to join the group.

The volunteer must attend commission all 2016 meetings, which are held the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

The position is open to all high school students who are Wyckoff residents.

Students can email an application by Jan. 22 and tell the members why they want to join and why they would be a good addition to the commission.

The commission, founded in 1972, advises township officials on environmental issues and holds events such as a cleanup day, fishing derby, and tree plantings, the municipal website states.

TO APPLY: Email wec@wyckoff-nj.com with "student member environmental commission" in the subject.
