FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — The Ramapo High School varsity girls soccer team is on the verge of history.
The Raiders play for the state title against Holmdel in the Group 2 finals at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at Kean University in Union.
The Raiders bested Whippany Park 1-0 in the semifinals to advance. Holmdel defeated Point Pleasant 2-1.
Sommer Cochran scored the game-winner for Ramapo to send her team to the finals.
The Raiders went 19-3-2. A 20th victory sends them home as champions.
