Two women have been arrested in connection with the shooting of an 11-year-old boy struck by a stray bullet on Saturday night, May 25 in Atlantic City, police said.
Yanirah Davis, 22, of Galloway, and Yontay Cooper, 33, of Egg Harbor, showed up to the 100 block of north Rhode Island Avenue with a hammer and a handgun to encounter a group that they had a prior altercation with, city police said.

Two Atlantic County men admitted to assaulting two juvenile corrections officers, authorities said.
Bilal Rex, 20, of Atlantic City, and Samir Abdullah, 21, of Galloway, pleaded guilty on Thursday, May 16 to third-degree aggravated assault on a corrections employee. The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced their guilty pleas in a news release.
Investigators said Rex and Abdullah assaulted two corrections officers while they were held in the Harborfields Youth Detention Center on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022.

Thomas Nyers, of Galloway, was heading north on the roadway in Hamilton when 29-year-old James Langlois, of Richland, was heading south in a 2017 Dodge Ram around 6:05 p.m., Hamilton police said.

A man was shot, a suspect is sought and a pair was arrested on separate weapons charges, authorities said.
On Saturday, April 8, at 8:42 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to the 800 block of Indiana Avenue for a ShotSpotter alert.
As officers were responding, an SUV was observed fleeing the area at a high rate of speed. Police stopped the vehicle at Ohio and Atlantic Avenues. The driver, 32, of Galloway, had sustained a gunshot wound and the vehicle showed evidence of gunfire, police said.
