WYCKOFF, N.J. — CycleBar, an indoor cycling company that offers workouts in a CycleTheatre, is now under construction at the Boulder Run Shopping Center in Wyckoff.
CycleBar offers a pay-per-class model, with no membership necessary.
Its classes take place in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre and are led by CycleStar instructors who take participants through a 50-minute high-energy ride.
The CycleTheatre features tiers for 50 bikes plus LED lighting, wide-screen graphics and state-of-the-art audio with a DJ booth. Riders can track performance data via CycleStats and download music used in the class session.
After class, they cool down with fresh fruit and enhanced water, while aromatherapy helps guests relax throughout the facility.
Concierge service and amenities include free towels, showers, lockers, and shoes.
“More than 54 million Americans are working out at boutique fitness studios, which makes it the fastest growing sector of the fitness industry,” said Pedro Trujillo of CycleBar.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Trujillo has held financial positions at major corporations for more than 20 years.
His business partner, Jodi Johnson, has more than 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis and operations management.
When completed, CycleBar Wyckoff will be one of 100 CycleBar studios to open to riders this year. It will hold a CycleBlast to celebrate its grand opening.
Free private rides for groups of 10 or more also will be available for local companies, civic and non-profit groups.
CycleBar also regularly features philanthropic CycleGiving events. In 2015, for instance, CycleBar supported Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the American Heart Association, and The Movember Foundation, which raises awareness for men’s health and well-being.
