Brandyn Coe Randolph of Franklin Lakes and Mariel Alvarado of Cliffside Park launched Lady Savant around three years ago as a marketplace before it turned into a women's business club.

The group meets online and in-person with up to 15 members at a time.

"It's been great," Randolph told Daily Voice. "It's been really exciting. It has grown very fast, very quickly for us."

Randolph said they saw a need for a women's business group. The members meet a few times a month and share ideas and network.

The group founders describe the mission as to inspire and empower women with a platform to be flooded with new ideas.

Alvarado said she loves it because they can form unique bonds with other people.

"When you're an entrepreneur, you kind of feel like you're alone," she said. "So everyone's kind of turned into a colleague. Everyone has their own business but we're all there for each other."

Both founders originally lived in Texas before relocating east. They met in Cliffside Park before Randolph moved to Franklin Lakes two years ago. Randolph worked in real estate before moving to recruiting.

"Our whole mission is to really let people know that you don't have to do this alone and you can do this together," she said. "It's a sisterhood."
