Hundreds Gather In Wyckoff To Support Those With Special Needs

WYCKOFF, N.J. – Hundreds of families came together recently to show support for those with Down syndrome and special needs at the 12th Annual Bergen Buddy Walk at the Wyckoff Family YMCA.

The walk was chaired by Jennifer and Bill Burns of Ramsey, whose daughter Shannon has Down syndrome.

Proceeds from the walk benefit the National Down Syndrome Society, the Down Syndrome Research Foundation, the Special Olympics and special needs programs at the Y. A portion also goes to support local families affected by Down Syndrome.
