WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Phyllis Fairbairn, 82, of Wyckoff, died Oct. 25.
She was born in Hartford, Conn., and raised in West Hartford, the daughter of the late Dr. Henry Pierce and Mary Laverne (Tatum) Talbot.
She graduated from William H. Hall High School and Bay Path College and resided in Wyckoff for 48 years.
She was a talented, decorative painter, a member of the West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; sister, Mari-Anne Kimball and her husband Donald; daughter, Linda Coppee and her husband David; sons, Henry and his wife Shirley, John and his wife Karen de Seve, Scott and Paul and his wife Gabrielle; grandchildren, Christa, Jonathan, Ariel, Althea, Camille, Gunnar, Paige, Cyane, Dylan and Ellery; and great-grandchildren, Nikhil and Kiran.
The family will receive their friends from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Talbot family plot in La Fayette, Ala.
