ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- An Englewood laborer grabbed an an 83-year-old woman walking to church off the street and sexually assaulted her, authorities said.
Margarito Hernandez-Valladers, 23, was arrested Thursday, nearly four months after the July 28 assault, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal confirmed.
A judge on Friday ordered that he remain held in the Bergen County Jail pending further court action on charges of sexual assault, criminal restraint and criminal sexual contact.
Hernandez-Valladares was arrested by detectivies from Grewal's office working with city police, the prosecutor said.
