YOU READ IT HERE FIRST : A Wyckoff police officer who stopped a car after a computer check showed an expired registration got a surprise when the driver turned out to be a 16-year-old Franklin Lakes girl.
The driver told Officer Kevin Pinches she didn’t have her driver’s license with her following the Franklin Avenue stop, Police Chief Benjamin Fox said.
She also gave him a fake name and Social Security number, Fox said.
Police quickly identified her, then signed juveniles complaints driving without a license, possession of marijuana, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and hindering.
She was released to a parent pending a hearing in the Family Part of Superior Court.
