Bristol Road Rage Shooting Closes Busy Street A road rage incident in Connecticut in which one person was shot and seriously injured has closed a busy street. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at 395 Broad St., in Bristol. According to Lt. Geoffrey Lund of the Bristol Police, Broad Street is closed between Emmett Street and Todd Street due to the ongoing investigation. This area is expected to be closed through the afternoon. 3 Young Glastonbury Runners Struck By Car, Injured Three minors were struck and injured by a car while jogging along a Connecticut roadway. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15, in Glastonbury. According to Lt. Kevin Szydlo of the Glastonbury Police, the three were running near Hubbard and Maple Streets when they were struck by a car. Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing Litchfield Woman Authorities are asking the public for help locating a missing Connecticut woman who has been missing for two weeks. According to Connecticut State Police, Troop L, 44-year-old Litchfield County resident Elizabeth Gyurko of the town of Litchfield, was last seen in Fairfield County in the Danbury area on Sunday, April 7. Man Found Dead Floating In Hamden Lake Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a lake in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11:15 a.m., Monday, April 15, at Lake Whitney in Hamden, near Hartford Turnpike and Rogers Road. According to Capt. Anthony Diaz of the Hamden Police officers responded to the scene and found the man, who was dead. Diaz said Hamden Fire Department personnel removed him from the water and took him to the Medical Examiner's Office. A preliminary investigation did not show any signs of trauma. Poughkeepsie Drug Dealer Busted for Second time, police say A Hudson Valley fentanyl dealer recently released from jail has been busted again, this time with alleged drugs and a gun. Dutchess County resident Jose J. Cruz, age 22, of Poughkeepsie, was charged multiple drugs and a weapon charge on Monday, April 15, in the town of Poughkeepsie. Man Drives Car Off Greenwich Roadway Into Coastal Rocks First responders rescued an elderly driver in Fairfield County after he drove off the end of a roadway and landed on the rocks keeping him from driving into Long Island Sound.
