Second Suspect Charged In Deadly Scranton Shooting
Another man is in police custody for the Scranton murder of 36-year-old Benjamin Thompson. Quamir Robinson was arrested at his Dunmore home on Tuesday, May 21, city police said in a release. He's charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, according to officials. Authorities have said 36-year-old Thompson was shot to death on Jackson Street on May 14. Bryan Hagerich will avoid jail time and pay a fine of $6,700 after being accused of bringing ammunition to the British territory of Turks and Caicos, 6abc reports. It happened on a Route 99 bus near the Macy's at King of Prussia mall, according to investigators. Man Charged In Murder Of Wife, Mother-In-Law In Philadelphia Home: Report
Police have made an arrest in the killings of a mother and daughter in Philadelphia earlier this week. Angela Trejo, 75, and Alma Barberena, 58, were found dead in the basement of a Bingham Street home around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, police said. They had both suffered stab wounds and pronounced dead at then scene 15 minutes later. Leandro Barberena, 43, of Disston Street, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of murder and related offenses, police said.
